Beaver Creek, Vail Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone and Crested Butte Announce Winter Opening Dates, Operating Plans and New Attractions for 2022-23 Season

Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Crested Butte announced today their opening dates for the winter 2022-23 season, starting with Keystone's kick-off in October and running all the way until spring with Breckenridge open well into May. Keystone will open as soon as weather and conditions permit in October, thanks to its state-of-the-art, energy-efficient snowmaking system. Breckenridge and Vail will follow on Nov. 11, and Beaver Creek and Crested Butte will open on Nov. 23. All dates are weather and conditions dependent.

Beaver Creek Hosts 21st Oktoberfest Celebration

Celebrate Oktoberfest with three days of food, drinks and fun over Labor Day weekend in Beaver Creek. The festivities begin on Friday, Sept. 3 with a traditional keg tapping ceremony at 4:00 p.m. to open the biergarten followed by live music from Rick Borger & The Average German Band.

Vail Resorts’ Colorado Resorts Kick Off Summer Operations Starting on June 12

Vail Resorts announced today plans for summer operations at its five Colorado resorts. Crested Butte will kick off the summer season and operations on June 12, with Breckenridge on June 18, Vail and Beaver Creek on June 19, and Keystone on June 24. Following a reduced operating footprint last summer, guests can look forward to more activities on tap at the resorts for the upcoming summer season. Beaver Creek Resort Kicks off 40th Anniversary Season on Wednesday, Nov. 25 with Extra Emphasis on Safety

Beaver Creek is set to welcome back skiers and riders for its 40th anniversary season on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 9 a.m. Following 2.5 feet of snow so far in the month of November, Epic Pass holders, who receive exclusive early season access, will enjoy more than 130 acres of skiing and riding across four trails and three lifts on opening day.
